Inclusive Boards Playbook

These two research-based playbooks were developed in collaboration with board directors and organizational leaders to help companies build more diverse and effective boards. One addresses board culture — how boards can build the conditions to leverage diverse ideas and draw on the full range of perspectives in the room. The other addresses board diversity — how to run a search process that expands who gets to the table. Together, they reflect a joint effort by the Stanford VMware Women's Leadership Innovation Lab and the California Partners Project to translate research into practical tools for people building and serving on boards.
