Tiffany Chow, PhD, and Ashley Bennett, PhD, 2023-25 Lab Postdoctoral Research Scholars
Program Details
Our Postdoctoral Research Scholars join a dynamic, collaborative research community focused on advancing women's leadership.
Postdoctoral Research Scholars have dedicated time to pursue their own research agenda while also collaborating with Lab-affiliated researchers on innovative projects using Lab data. The program bridges the gap between research and practice, emphasizing the development of skills needed to advance solutions to social problems and communicate findings to diverse audiences, including non-academic stakeholders.
Postdoctoral scholars are fully integrated into the Lab community, participating in Lab meetings and workshops alongside Lab researchers and staff.
Additional engagement opportunities may include:
Mentoring graduate and undergraduate students
Developing research translation pieces for public audiences
Collaborating on peer-reviewed publications
Each Postdoctoral Research Scholars receives personalized mentorship from Professor Shelley Correll, Lab Faculty Director and Professor of Sociology and (by courtesy) Organizational Behavior. The mentorship structure is tailored to individual research interests and professional goals, ensuring comprehensive support for career advancement.
Additionally, the VMware Women's Leadership Innovation Lab partners with the Stanford Impact Labs to train scholars in developing research for social impact. All Lab postdoctoral research scholars participate in the Stanford Impact Labs’ Emerging Scholars Fellowship training program, providing additional professional development and research training opportunities alongside scholars from across disciplines.
