Tiffany Chow

Tiffany is a postdoctoral research scholar at the Stanford VMware Women’s Leadership Innovation Lab. She received her PhD at UC Santa Barbara and her MS in Information Science at the University of Michigan. She studies racial and gender inequality in the high-tech industry. Tiffany’s current research theorizes on Asian American racial identity, especially as it coincides with other salient identity characteristics such as gender, how they mitigate or confront racial discrimination, and how they define racial group membership within the high-tech industry. She has published in Gender & Society and Qualitative Sociology. She was previously a Product Design Director in Austin, Texas.
