Secoya Gallegos Contreras serves as the Stanford VMware Women's Leadership Innovation Lab's Corporate Program Manager, managing large events and engagement opportunities with corporate program members, as well as leading the membership renewal budgeting process.

While at Stanford’s Clayman Institute for Gender Research, Gallegos Contreras held many roles from designing and leading the high school and undergraduate summer internship programs to co-facilitating the Seeds of Change course for two consecutive cohorts. Prior to joining Clayman, they dedicated a year of service to a non-profit, education-based program, City Year San Jose. Their service year included literacy tutoring for elementary school students, co-leading the after-school program, and providing overall support during the school day. They also have prior experience in community outreach in the San Jose area and greater Los Angeles area, where they received their BA in Chicana/o Studies and Labor and Workplace Studies from UCLA. 

Gallegos Contreras is passionate about intergenerational mentorship and improving workplace culture. They enjoy creating systems of learning and accountability for colleagues and partners across other teams to emphasize and support the leadership development of women, especially women of color, and the LGBTQ+ community.
